Biography of Gandhi
Gandhi has lived by his quote through out his life by being a non violent person. The quote means that when he looks back at things loving and caring has proven to be on top, but sometimes violence and murders seem invincible it shows that hatred may be he answer but it is never right. The way Gandhi has lived when the British were in India, he tried to stay true to his culture and respect everyone with non-violence.Another two examples of how he lived by the quote would be at the very beginning of the movie and towards the middle.
Gandhi stands by his quote in the beginning of the movie when the train conductor asked him to move back from first class because he was Indian. Instead of making a big scene or starting a fight, Gandhi just simply tried to prove that he had the first class ticket and refused to move. Although this failed, he did not fight back. The other example was when he was trying to get rights for Indians in South Africa. He gathered most of the Indians to tell them to burn the papers, and when he did that the British did not like it so they attacked Gandhi and whoever burned theirs. When the British beat Gandhi he did not fight back.
In the end of his life, he did not do any violent act, living up to his quote. When he got assassinated, his family did not want the murderer killed because they knew Gandhi would not want something like this and this would just be bad but it was not the right answer. That kind of relates to the quote of how murderers for a time will seem invincible. That is how Gandhi lived his life by that quote.

India's got talent and America's got talent
The India pop cultures that interest me is India's got talent. I am interest in this because it is like the one in America but for Indians to show their talents that aren't seen here in America. These two are connected because they are based off the same idea that is about one person that has that special talent. Both shows maybe in different countries but they still have the same ideas and points. They both have 3 judges that compare which talents are better and it comes down to that one person that is better. These both have the same concept of selective talents on which is better.
NGO in India
The NGO that i found is called the Smile Foundation and can be found at "http://www.smilefoundationindia.org/". This organization's mission is to try and improve the education of young kids and help with healthcare in rural villages and urban slums. They also help with women empowerment and sensitization of the privileged masses. This group started out with just a bunch of friends that wanted to do something that could contribute to the social lives of others and this is how they did it.
The group connects others around the world by not just helping by themselves, they ask others to try and help too. This could bring people together to do something beneficial for others. This allows one to grow in their leadership skills and the team skills to help everyone else. In conclusion, this group helps everyone around the world to provide a better life and education while keeping everyone connected.
